Mo's Digital Pencil Computer Guy

Good morning, Thursday morning.  Wow did we have some really bad weather.  Hurricane Harvey was brutal.  Massive flooding all over town.  Folks are going to be recovering from this for a very long time.  Prayers to all effected by flooding.  I was able to get some cards made and I'm going to share one with you today.  This one uses Mo Manning's digital image Computer Guy.  I printed him on Neenah white card stock and colored him with copic markers.  Card base is Neenah white with a layer of Stampin Up Basic Black. The patterned papers are Basic Grey's Ambrosia collection.  I matted the image with Basic Black and added a Stampin Up corner.  I like how it turned out.  That's it for today.  See you tomorrow.

Power Poppy Countryside

Happy Friday!  Wow we are in for some really bad weather here.  Hurricane Harvey is headed for us.  We won't get a direct hit but the over flow is bringing tons on rain and most likely lots of flooding.  Unless we loose electricity this should be a prefect weekend for card making.  Yipee!!
Today's card is another digital image.  This one is from Power Poppy called Countryside Bouquet.  I printed on Neenah white and colored with copics: G40, 43,46 - YG01,61,67 -  Y11,13,15 - YR12,15,23 - R14,17,29 - B0000,000,60,63,66,79 - BV23,25,29 - E40 - W2 - C1,4.  My card base is Stampin Up Naturals White with a layer of Basic Grey and a layer of My Minds Eye Quilting Bee patterned paper.  The image is mounted on a layer of Stamping Up Calypso Coral and then Naturals White.  Pearls from my stash finish it off.  That's all I have for today.  I hope you all have a great weekend.

Sassy Cheryl Cupcake

Happy Friday!  Thank goodness it is Friday or I'd have to call in sick tomorrow!  We spent last Saturday with my son and his family and the baby was really congested and not feeling very well.  Naturally all the adults from lovin' all over her are now sick with it.  Oh well, it's not the first time nor will it be the last.  Anyway on to today's card.  This card is a birthday card with another digital stamp.  I printed Avery Celebrates with Cake on Neenah white card stock.  She is part of a set, Avery is Thankful which you can find here.  I colored her with copics and then cut her out with Spellbinders circle die.  The card base is Neenah white with a layer of Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid pattern paper.  I don't remember who the blue & white dotted paper is from.  The lacy border is Martha Stewart.  I finished it with some silver dots.  Isn't she just the cutest?  I hope you guys have a great weekend.

Sugar Nellie Birthday Fairy

Hey everyone!  It's Tuesday and another scorcher high temps with high humidity.  You gotta love summers in Houston.  Good reason to stay indoors and make cards.  Today's offering is a cute birthday card for a friend of my granddaughter.  I printed the digi (which is no longer available but I got it off of pinterest here) on Neenah white card stock.  Colored her with copics then blocked her and added clouds with Stampin Up Bashful Blue.  The card base is Neenah white card stock with a layer of Stampin Up Blushing Bride.  The pattern papers are from Carta Bella Devoted.  The clouds were cut using My Favorite Things cloud die, the flourish I can remember the name of.  The pearls were colored with copics.  And that's all I have for today.  I'll see you again tomorrow.  Have a great day!

Art Impressions Beach Babes

Happy First Day of a brand new work week!  I'm not real fond of Monday's so I'm trying to pep myself up.  I fear it isn't working!  We stayed up entirely too late last night catching up on "Arrow", our newest obsession.  Anyway on to today's card.  I made this card for my Aunt's birthday coming up.  It's a fairly clean & simple card.  Starting with a Neenah white card base with a layer of Stampin Up Night of Navy card stock.  I stamped my Art Impressions Beach Babes (which I have as one stamp but is no longer available that way) on  Neenah white.  I colored it with copics, blocked the image and used SU Bashful Blue for some clouds and SU Creamy Caramel for the sand.  The conversations were generated on the computer and placed in the bubbles and then cut out.  I hope my aunt gets a kick out of this card.  Until tomorrow.

Penny Black Birthday

Hello again.  I have another birthday card to share today.  This one I actually used a stamp (teehee). I stamped this cute stamp Jazzy Piano Cats (retired) on Neenah white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  .  You can get it in this clear stamp set though.  I used Promarkers to color.  The card base is Neenah white with a half layer of Echo Park Fine & Dandy blue and half layer of musical notes.  I matted the colored image on Stampin Up Gumball Green card stock (retired).  The Memory Box Happy Birthday Melody  was cut from SU Real Red.  I had to cut some of the end off as it was too long for my card.  But I think it still works.  That's it for today.  Hope to see you again tomorrow.

Take It Easy

Good morning.  I have a rather simple card to share today.  I started by printing my digital image Dad's Remote from The Digi Shack on Neenah white card stock and Scrapbook Walls patterned paper.  I colored with copics, cut out the sofa & foot stool and added to the main image.  I then used Spellbinders circle die to cut out my image.  While still in the die I sponged on some SU Bashful Blue at the top and Certainly Celery at the bottom.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with the circle dies.  The card base is SU Old Olive with a layer of Ballet Blue (retired).  And it all comes together for a cute little birthday card.  At least I think so.  I hope you guys have a great day.

All Dressed Up

Good morning and a Happy start to another week.  Today I'm starting us off with another super cute card, at least I think so.  I started by printing the All Dressed Up digital image Abi Ballerina on Neenah white card stock.  Colored with copics.  Then I printed her once again and colored and cut out just her tutu.  Mounted the tutu with foam dots for extra dimension.  Added Stickles diamond glitter.  I used All Dressed Up digital papers Pink Papers to cut the fishtails.  I hand cut the 7, colored with copics and covered with Stampin Up Dazzling Diamonds and popped it up using foam dots.  Added the pink crystals and called it too darn cute!  That's it for today.  I'll see you again tomorrow.

Hello all.  I want you to know that I am managing to keep up with the August birthdays. Today's card is for my niece.  I really like how it turned out.  I still need work coloring with copics but over all not too bad.  I used another Uptown Girl from Stamping Bella for this one.  And let me tell you these stamps are really large.  I stamped Vienna on her Vespa with Stazon Jet Black ink onto Neenah white card stock.  Colored her with copics (skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, E95, E93 hair: E51, E59, E37, E35, E33, E31 pink: RV69, RV19, RV17, RV 55 aqua: BG78, BG18, BG13, BG11 yellow: YR04, Y17, Y15, Y11 orange: YR07, YR04, YR02, YR00 gray: C7, C5, C3, C1).   The card base is Neenah white, with a layer of Stampin Up Pixie Pink (retired) and Doodlebug Sweet Shop pattern paper.  The curve on the top of the image was done with the Spellbinders Curved Borders Two.  I finished it with enamel dots from Doodlebug.  That's it for today.  Thanks for stopping by.
